Development of Bridge Beam Inspection Equipment for Tidal River Sections

This project develops a bridge inspection device equipped with a multi-segment arm, allowing a camera to access narrow and dark spaces beneath bridges. The device inspects and records the condition of the underside of bridge beams, effectively addressing practical challenges in bridge inspection.

This project has developed a new “Tripod Block + Geotextile” construction method to enhance bridge foundation scour resistance, reduce maintenance by 90%, and extend service life. The patented technique has been applied to bridge maintenance by the Freeway Bureau, ensuring driving safety.
